Mr Kerry Marshall has been appointed acting Chief Executive of Presbyterian Support East Coast (PSEC) following the resignation of Mr Shaun Robinson. Leadership of Cranford Hospice, following the resignation of Barry Keane, is being managed by Change Manager John Newland and PSEC Board chair Michael Konig until a permanent replacement is appointed.

Cranford governance is currently being reviewed by a development group of eight people represented by both Napier and Hastings Mayors, two members of PSEC Board, the same from HBDHB and an independent nurse and doctor. The group will make recommendations for the future governance of Cranford Hospice by July 21st 2010. Inpatient beds at Cranford Hospice require recruitment of palliative care doctors and this is currently taking place. It is envisaged that inpatient beds will return to Cranford Hospice no later than November 2010.
