Enliven Positive Ageing Services provide older people with the support required in order to stay in their own home and remain in control of their own destiny.

Enliven services now encompass the former Auckland-based Homecare service which provided a range of practical task-oriented support to older people including the provision of help with personal care, household chores, grocery shopping etc.
Our specially-trained staff work in partnership with their clients, providing individually tailored programmes of home-based support to assist older people to achieve their goals. Enliven also offers two Day Programmes and in a number of areas we also offer a service aimed at supporting older people to return home after a short stay in a rest home.
Based on a positive ageing philosophy, Enliven is leading the way in aged care (as evidenced in a report recently released by the Ministry of Health following University of Auckland's ASPIRE study).
Enliven take into account not only practical day-to-day needs, but the emotional support and encouragement that can make such a difference.
Whatever is required in the circumstances, the Enliven team will work with older people to meet their needs. For example an older person might like to consider Enliven if:
-
they would like to continue living at home and need practical support to keep their household up and running
-
they need support and/or the levels of support required change from time to time
-
they are rehabilitating and need assistance regaining skills, mobility, and confidence
-
they need company and would benefit from our help identifying social activities to ensure you keep in touch.
Enliven's restorative home-based support is available (upon appropriate referral) in Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua,Tauranga and Taupo. There are also Day Programmes in Hamilton and Whakatane. The transition service is available in Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua and Taupo.
Enliven now also has a Homelink service based on the North Shore of Auckland which aims to reconnect older people with community services and / or social groups.
