Making Aotearoa New Zealand
the best place to raise children
in flourishing families
A lasting legacy; make a bequest
Many of us would like to be able to support vulnerable children and families even more than we do now, but often it’s just not possible.
Leaving a bequest is a way you can support our work without any impact on your current financial situation. Instead you’ll know that when you’re gone, you’ll continue to positively affect the lives of others.
You can ask for your gift to be used in a specific area, or for a specific purpose, or you can leave it to Presbyterian Support Central’s Family Works services generally. It’s your gift and you decide who you would like to help. Once you’ve decided on the gift in your Will, making the bequest is easy.
How to make a bequest to Family Works Central
Many people make a Will to make sure their wishes are clearly known. When you’ve made provision for your family and friends, you may wish to include a gift to support the Family Works services provided by Presbyterian Support Central.
Once you’ve decided what you’d like to support, you’ll need to decide whether you’d like to leave us a sum of money, a percentage of your estate or other assets. Any amount gifted, regardless of size, will make a real difference.
As you Will is a legal document, it’s important to seek the right advice and wording. You should contact your solicitor or a recognised trustee company; for example the Public Trust Office or Guardian Trust. They will be able to advise you on creating a Will in accordance with your wishes.

Presbyterian Support Central’s Kowhai Club is a very special group made up entirely of people who have advised us that they are helping vulnerable children and families by including Presbyterian Support Central in their will.
We ask that you let us know of your bequest so we can thank you in person. The Kowhai Club offers us the opportunity to recognise and honour you during your lifetime while you are able to accept our thanks and appreciation. Of course your bequest can remain confidential if you wish.
