Making Aotearoa New Zealand
the best place to raise children
in flourishing families
Family Works Central’s Wisdom and Wellbeing Group has been designed for older people in the South Wairarapa who are feeling cut off from the community and their support networks.
The group meets every Wednesday, providing not only companionship and opportunities to socialise with others at a similar stage in life but also a hugely varied programme of fun activities. Regular activities include shopping trips to Masterton, sight-seeing, guest speakers and entertainers, arts and craft and shared meals.

The Family Works Central Wisdom and Wellbeing is currently only available to older people living in the South Wairarapa. However, if you or someone you know is feeling isolated our sister service, Enliven Central, hosts social clubs for older people living in the community around the lower North Island. Visit the Enliven Central website to learn more.
Family Works Central’s Wisdom and Wellbeing Group is only made possible thanks to the support and generosity of our communities.
